【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusedfordeterminingthewearlifepropertiesofbondedsolidlubricantsinoscillatingmotionundertheprescribedtestconditions.Thistestmethoddifferentiatesbetweenbondedsolidlubricantswithrespecttotheirwearlife.Ifthetestconditionsarechanged,relativewearlifemaychangeandrelativeratingsofthebondedsolidfilmlubricantsmaybedifferent.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheevaluationofwearlifeofabondedsolidfilmlubricantunderoscillatingmotionbymeansofablock-on-ringfrictionandweartestingmachine.1.2Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSI(metric)unitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.WithinthetexttheSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents,thereforeeachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesofthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththespecification.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
